WDY Certified issues verifiable provenance records for original short-form content — cryptographic proof of origin, not a copyright registry. Records are public, permanently addressable, and re-verifiable by anyone without trusting WDY.
Fingerprint locally in the browser → Work masters, contracts, drafts — hashed on your device. Originals never upload.
Human review within 5 business days. WDY co-signs the manifest with its published key.
Permanent public verify page + printable QR. Anyone recomputes the hash — file + record + public key, offline.
First record just $1. Each rung adds an independent authority; you climb only when the stakes justify it.
SHA-256 fingerprint + WDY co-signature + permanent public verify page. Proves "this version existed, untampered, at this time."
CN supporting evidence of disclosure · EU deployer due-diligence file · US self-authenticating record (FRE 902 route)Time is vouched by an independent authority (a national timestamping service). Court-recognized and the best value rung for anything you may ever litigate.
CN Online Litigation Rules Art.16 / Internet Court Provisions Art.11 — electronic data fixation · US/EU independent time attestationAnchor the hash through an independent authority — a qualified timestamping authority (RFC 3161 TSA), a notarized digital signature, or a notarization of the hash record — triggers a presumption against tampering, shifting the burden to the other side. Chain or registry choice follows the governing jurisdiction: EU qualified electronic timestamp (eIDAS), US notarized hash affidavit, CN judicial-blockchain anchor.
CN blockchain presumption of integrity (judicial-chain anchor) · EU qualified eIDAS timestamp · US notarized hash affidavitOwnership itself is decided by registrations and contracts, not by us. Where required, register: the Copyright Protection Center of China (free) or the US Copyright Office (US$35–55, prerequisite to infringement suits).
US 17 U.S.C. §411(a) registration is a precondition to sue; timely registration unlocks statutory damages · CN/EU automatic copyright, registration strengthens the fileWhy is Tier 1 pricier per unit than Tier 2? Price does not track strength: a TSA is issued per record by a licensed authority (higher unit cost); judicial-chain anchoring is batched on-chain (low marginal cost, but requires corporate onboarding and usually minimum volumes). Prices shown are WDY's service pricing incl. third-party costs; registration fees are charged by the registries.
Anchored records (live): WDY-2026-0012 ↗ — SM3 evidence hash anchored to ZhiXinChain (Tencent); the chain-issued certificate is downloadable from the record page.
On-chain anchoring is operated under Tianjin Bohai Intelligent Robot Co., Ltd. (unified social credit code 91120222MAC95RTA43); the entity shown on the chain operator's certificate governs.
Per-record pricing fits individuals and light use. Steady-output teams and platforms run on annual subscriptions — fixed budget lines, annual quotas, procurement-friendly.
Pilot pricing (first 10 partner projects, free) is unchanged — reserved for institutional and press partners in exchange for case-study rights and attribution. Quotas are standard-tier equivalents; tier-mixing rules per signed order.
A single WDY record is built to be presented in more than one regulatory framework at once — no separate package per market. Below: the regimes it travels into; the following section details each.
Scope: WDY provides the provenance and traceability layer. Content labelling is the responsibility of producers, broadcasters and AI system providers. WDY does not replace any party's compliance obligations and does not generate labels itself.
The full evidence model — five anchors, strength grading, and the boundary of effect — is published as the WDY Evidence Model Specification v1.0.
Provenance does not live only on a server. Once a record is issued you can request a physical provenance card, mailed as a registered item through the designated postal operator to an address you give us — bearing the record ID and the SHA-256 fingerprint, with a QR code that resolves to the verify page. To request one, reply with “physical card” and your mailing address.
The acceptance postmark is applied by a postal clerk, the delivery postmark by the delivering office. Together they are a third-party date credential issued by a national postal operator — independent of WDY, of any blockchain, and of any server. Even if a chain shuts down or a key is lost, the card still verifies on its own.
Registered items are receipted, individually logged by the operator, and queryable against the receipt. Ordinary mail is not reliably cancelled, not logged, and cannot be queried. Registered is what creates a traceable third-party record.
On the day of mailing we query the operator’s tracking record, archive it, and lock that moment with free anchors (RFC 3161 timestamp and OpenTimestamps). The query window is one year; once archived, it is permanent.
Titles and content of unpublished material are never printed on it — a postcard is an open carrier, and that is a hard rule.
Scope: the physical card is a delivery artefact, not a title instrument. What it adds is an independent evidence source — off-chain, keyless, physically holdable. It does not create a legal presumption and does not extend the provable timeline. Requesting one is optional.
Store every version: contract → script v1/v2 → storyboard → master → review notes. In prior-creation disputes the chain wins; a lone final-hash proves little. The submit tool's multi-file + rights-evidence fields exist for this.
TSAs cost ≈ $2. Stamp the masters of anything you may ever litigate now — a timestamp obtained after a dispute starts proves far less.
End credits, delivery binders, tender documents, case-study pages. Acceptance teams and partners verify in one scan — 80% of an evidence asset's value is being findable when needed.
Write the provenance package into delivery checklists and tender lines: "AI content traceable and verifiable" is a scoring advantage with culture & tourism bureaus and a due-diligence asset for funds.
$1 trial for daily work; TSA for masters and signed contracts; judicial grade only when a dispute is live. Don't pay for notarization on drafts, don't litigate on bare hashes.
The record never states ownership. That restraint is exactly why reviewers, platforms and courts give weight to what it does say: this file, this version, this time.
Invite fellow creators: $1 credit for each new user's paid record; at 3, your $4.9 record fee is fully refunded. Cycles of 3, uncapped. Max 500 referrer slots through 2026-11-30. Rewards only ever track real paid records — nothing else. Full terms: wdy.org.cn/certified/invite.html (Chinese; English page ships with the next release).
Practical notes for international users: a referral code travels in the ?ref= link or the submit-form field; refunds are issued through the payment channel used at checkout. Same order cannot double-count with the B-end L2 reseller program.
Ningbo Intermediate Court litigation widely cited in the industry: the defendant's script reproduced plot structure; the decisive evidence was a continuous chain of dated drafts. Under the wdy model: script v1/v2 + storyboard hashes would have been on record from day one, each TSA-stamped ≈ $2 — the same defense at one thousandth of litigation-time cost. Pattern: archive the chain early, climb tiers only if it goes live.
A co-produced series ships with the provenance bundle: per-episode manifests, AI-disclosure statements, verify-page links. When a member-state authority asks the platform (deployer) how AI content is disclosed, the bundle is the answer — due diligence already performed. Pattern: build the pack at delivery, not at enforcement.
For a US-distributed title: US Copyright registration (US$55, statutory-damages eligible) + WDY record for version integrity + fingerprinted contracts. A DMCA notice citing a registration number and an independently verifiable record is rarely contested. Pattern: registration for the right to sue, the record for the proof quality.
Cultural-tourism deliveries increasingly accept "AI content traceable" as scoring criteria. The QR on the delivery binder lets the acceptance team confirm — episode by episode — who made it, which cut, labels in place. Pattern: evidence at the acceptance table, not in the archive.
A record is not a copyright registration, not a seal of approval, not a legal opinion. Ownership is decided by registration certificates, contracts and courts. WDY reviews metadata, co-signs with its published key, and hosts the permanent verify page; any third party re-verifies offline — file + record + public key, no trust in WDY required.
