Drop your files — your browser computes the SHA-256 fingerprints on your own device, fills the form for you, and shows the record live. Check it, press send, done. All files are fingerprint-only — originals and scans never leave your computer.
① Drop the files (one or many) → ② Review the auto-filled record → click Send to WDY — that's the whole thing.
Hand any line below to your AI assistant — paste it into the chat, or run it in a terminal. It installs the skill and submits for you; fingerprints are computed locally and originals never leave your machine. No AI assistant? Use the drop zone below — the result is identical.
For locally-executing assistants (file access + network): Claude Code, Hermes, Codex, Cursor, WorkBuddy… Browser-only chat AIs: just use the drop zone below. The skill ships the submission spec and wording guardrails — your assistant won't overpromise on WDY's behalf. View the skill file.
Download this page as a single file — it runs on any computer, no internet needed for fingerprinting. Only the final send step needs a connection — or copy the live record below into your own email and send it yourself. The record preview appears as soon as you drop a file.
* required; everything else is pre-filled with sensible defaults. All fields on the left flow into the JSON on the right.
Clicking send delivers the manifest JSON and every file's fingerprint as email content to the submit endpoint on this domain — wdy.org/api/submit — which delivers it straight to hello@wdy.org — no attachments, no uploads. Originals never leave you: the fingerprints of your rights documents are part of the record, so "this is that exact contract" can be proven later. WDY reviews within 5 business days and emails your verify link and record number. Pilot period: free for the first 10 partner titles (by written confirmation). Otherwise pay-per-record: first record $1 per account, then $4.9/record — see the pricing card. If the channel is unavailable, your email app opens instead (content auto-copied).

Keep this page and do not submit twice. To add material, just reply to the confirmation email.
It depends on your CPU and disk — rough reference points (Chrome on a typical laptop):
| File size | Recent machine (modern CPU, SSD) | Older machine (2015-era CPU, HDD) |
|---|---|---|
| 50 MB (script, poster) | 1–2 s | 2–5 s |
| 300 MB (one episode) | 5–12 s | 15–40 s |
| 2 GB (season master) | 35–90 s | 2–5 min |
Memory use stays constant (4 MB slices), so large masters are safe on 4 GB machines.
Heavy background tasks (video editing, antivirus scans) slow it down. Very large files can also use the CLI:
python wdy_certify.py issue FILE --title T --type video --mode hybrid --ai-ratio 0.35 --record-id WDY-2026-000N --key YOUR.key
